Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 12, 2026
1. Who we are
PAKAL (“PAKAL”, “we”, “us”) operates the websites pakalb2b.com and pkl.mx. Our address is Zamora 165, Condesa, CP 06140, Mexico City, Mexico. You can reach us at hola@pakalb2b.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form, book a call, join the PKL waitlist or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, company or brand name, job title, catalog size and sales channels, and the message you write. If you hire us, we also collect tax information needed to invoice you.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our sites, cookies, pixels and similar technologies collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location (country and region), and identifiers related to the ads you clicked.
Information from advertising platforms. Platforms such as Google, Meta and LinkedIn may tell us which ad or campaign led you to our site.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your requests, schedule calls and prepare quotes.
- To provide our consulting, marketplace, catalog governance (PKL) and Shopify services.
- To send newsletters and business communications. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To measure website traffic and the performance of our advertising.
- To show our ads to people who have visited our sites.
- To protect our sites, prevent fraud and comply with the law.
4. Cookies, pixels and advertising
We use the following tools on our sites: Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit), the Google Ads remarketing tag, the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. They help us understand how visitors use our sites, measure results and show our ads to people who showed interest. These providers collect information under their own privacy policies.
You can control these technologies by changing your browser settings, using a browser or extension that sends the Global Privacy Control signal, or using the opt-out tools of each provider:
- Google: adssettings.google.com
- Meta: facebook.com/adpreferences
- LinkedIn: linkedin.com/psettings/advertising
- Industry opt-outs: optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers that help us run our business: website hosting and security (Automattic / WordPress.com, Jetpack, Akismet), analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn), scheduling (Calendly) and email marketing (Kit). We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
Under California law, making identifiers and browsing activity available to advertising platforms for ads on other sites can count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 6.
6. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, and to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA (“CCPA”), applies to us, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and share, and request a copy.
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Categories of personal information in the last 12 months: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address, online identifiers); professional or business information (company, job title); internet or network activity (pages viewed, ad interactions); and approximate geolocation. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information. We disclose these categories to the service providers listed in Section 5, and we share identifiers and internet activity with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How to make a request. Email hola@pakalb2b.com with the subject “California Privacy Request”. We will verify your identity before acting, and you may use an authorized agent. To opt out of sale or sharing, email us with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”, or use the tools in Section 4. We treat opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as required by applicable law.
7. Rights under Mexican law
If you are in Mexico, you have access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO) rights under Mexican data protection law. Email hola@pakalb2b.com to exercise them. Our Spanish-language notice is available at pakalb2b.com/aviso-de-privacidad.
8. Retention, security and international transfers
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, but no system is completely secure. Your information may be processed in Mexico and in the United States, where our providers operate.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses. Our sites are not directed to people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
